Gloria Jacqueline Miller, 78, of Mocksville, died Monday, March 2, 2026, at Davie Nursing & Rehab in Mocksville.

She was born April 4, 1947, in Forsyth County, to the late Guy West and Daisy Elizabeth Plott Miller.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Jo Ann Howard, and Wanda Atkins; a brother, Edward "Bucky" Miller; and a son-in-law, Charlie Doby, Jr.

Survivors include her daughter, Kim McKnight Doby; a sister, Gay Moore (Claude); a brother, Donald Miller; a special friend, Crystal Smoot; and several nieces and nephews.

A very special thank you to her three wonderful nieces, Rhonda Funderburk, Donna Bailey, and Bobbi Jo Laing for all of your loving help and support in her care. Your kindness, dedication, and compassion through the years have meant more than words can express. We are so grateful for everything you have done.

Jackie did not want a service, and we are respecting her wishes. We appreciate everyone's love and support during this time.
