Frances Eugenia 'Frankie' Isaac Spencer, age 72, was born August 21, 1944 in Mocksville, NC, to Rebecca Cody Isaac and the late Green Isaac Jr. She departed this life on March 3, 2017, at North Carolina Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC. Frances attended Davie County Public Schools and Kate Bitting School of Nursing, and worked as a nurse for fifty years. She shared her knowledge with many employers because most of the time she was working two jobs. She worked for Kate Bitting Hospital, Forsyth Hospital, Western Electric as an industrial nurse, Gentiva Home Health Care, CHS Health Services, RJ Reynolds as an industrial nurse, Care One Health Care, Dr. Collins, Industries for the Blind, and Lorillard. After finishing Nursing school, Frances lived in Winston-Salem, NC, but never forgot home. She visited Mocksville almost every Sunday. She loved the sport of bowling and traveled to many states to bowl. She also loved reading and watching sports. In addition to her father, Frances was preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Spencer Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory one son, James Thomas Spencer, Jr., of the home; her mother, Rebecca Cody Isaac of Mocksville, two brothers, Lewis (Hazel) Isaac of Asheville, Bruce (Edith) Isaac of Mocksville, three sisters, Eleanor Brown of Mocksville, Alice Isaac of Winston-Salem, Rachel (Roland) Wade of Winston-Salem; five nieces; three nephews; special cousins; Faye Nita, Malcom, Lil Red, Brittany, Big Red, Man and Boo-Boo; very special friends Andy and Brenda; a host of other relatives and friends. 'Frankie' fought a good fight, she finished her course, she kept the faith; therefore, there is laid up for her a crown of righteousness which the righteous judge shall give her at that day.
