Mrs. Frances Doris Anderson-Brown, 80, of Mocksville, gained her wings Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Mocksville Senior Living & Memory Care.

She was born on March 16, 1944 in Davidson County to the late Artis Felton and Fannie Lou Williams Anderson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Brown; brothers, William Anderson, and Artis Felton Anderson, Jr.; nephews, Mario and Tycondus; and great-nephew, Omar.

Survivors include a son, Everette Anderson (Jessica); sisters, Dian Smith, Shirley Parker, and Faye Walker; grandchildren, Jordan and Lohra Anderson; nieces and nephews, Derrick, Gail, Nelson, Karla, Johnny, Mike (Lawanda), Isaac (Crystal), Mario, Melvin (Yolanda), and Zoporiah (Joseph); great-nieces and nephews, Yolanda, Talamacus "Binky" (Monje), William, and Aungela; a host of great-great-nieces and nephews and other family; and a very special niece that she helped raise, Ginger Shabazz.
