Eva Lendora Anderson, was born June 24, 1952, in Rowan County, daughter of the late Fred and Geneva Carson Davidson. She graduated from Davie High School in 1970, and attended Salisbury Business College. She worked in food service for Rowan County Public Schools. On June 18, 1972, she married Ray Anderson. This union was blessed with two daughters. For the past forty-six years, she has been an active member of Mt. Sinai A.M.E. Zion Church, where she served as Leader of Class Leaders, a member of the stewardess board, and the deaconess board. Lynn, as she was affectionately called, loved to work with crafts, bake, and travel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Doris Harris. On Monday, August 6, 2018, she died at her residence in Mocksville. Survivors include her husband, Ray Anderson of the home; two daughters, Catina Anderson of the home, and Raya Anderson of Dayton, OH; one grandson, Amir Anderson of Dayton, OH; her step-mother, Lucille Davidson; one sister, Alice Nevels; other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 10, at 11:30 AM at Mt. Sinai A.M.E. Zion Church in Advance. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
