Edwin Starett Roberts, 83, of Woodleaf, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at the W.G. "Bill" Hefner VA Medical Center, Salisbury.

He was born September 18, 1941, in Lee County, VA, to the late Floyd Edgar and Eula Grey Wolfe Roberts.

Edwin proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during Vietnam. He loved to sing and play the guitar at church and loved to build things.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Starett J. Roberts.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Phyllis Ann Moore Roberts; a son, Phillip E. Roberts (Ellen); a brother, Ronald Roberts (Patti); four sisters, Sue Burgin (Bob), Janice Moore (Mike), Kathy Breedlove (Rick), and Melanie Baker; and several nieces and nephews

A service will be held at a later date.
