Donald Ray Tutterow, 75, of Wake Forest, died Saturday, January 3, 2026, at WakeMed North Hospital in Raleigh.

He was born October 8, 1950, in Rowan County, to the late Thomas Wilson Tutterow, Jr. and Sarah Elizabeth Crowell Tutterow. Donald had worked for multiple construction companies throughout his career, and most recently for Thalle Construction Co. He loved his country, his God, his wife and his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Thomas Wilson Tutterow, III and Gilbert Dean Tutterow.

Survivors include wife, Jayne Louise Kandle Tutterow; siblings, Claude Tutterow (Patricia) of Mocksville and Carol Aitken of Northern Ireland; and nephew and nieces, Mike Tutterow (Jennifer), Todd Tutterow (Denise), Annalee Tutterow Amber (Evan), and Caitlyn Tutterow (fiancé, Tony Cao).

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, January 9, at Center Methodist Church, Mocksville, with Rev. Jesse Teal officiating.
