Obituary

Diane Seamon Cooper, 70, of Mocksville, died Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, in Winston-Salem.

She was born October 5, 1954, in Davie County, to the late Jack Henry and Mary Marie Robbins Seamon. Diane loved her flower garden especially her roses and rose bushes, she also loved butterflies, sitting on her porch, and she especially loved her family and spending time with them.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Brittany Nicole Cooper; a grandson, Jason Snyder; and two brothers, Cletus Seamon, and Tom Seamon.

Survivors include her husband, Steve Cooper; three children, Clay Snyder (Christie), Tammy Snyder (Jimmie), and Christopher Hollingsworth; two brothers, Gary Seamon (Liz), and Johnny Seamon; five grandchildren, Nicholas Snyder, Josh Bracken (Ana), Jessica "Sissy" Wooten (Shawn), Ricky Wooten (Taylor), and Brittany Mabe (Jake); 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m., Sunday, June 1, at Lambert Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Joshua L. Gupton officiating. Interment will follow in St. Matthews Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family invites friends to visit with them at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
