Della Christine Johnson, age 85, died September 9, 2017 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem, NC. She was born August 31, 1932, daughter of the late Charles and Alice Britton Anderson. She graduated from Davie County Training School in 1949 and had worked a number of years as a case worker for the Davie County Department of Social Service. She also worked as a custodian for the Davie County School System. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, where she had served as church secretary, Deaconess, and was a member of the senior choir. She is survived by one son, Michael (Portia) Johnson of Greensboro, NC; two grandchildren, Erica and Alicia Johnson; nieces and nephews; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Anderson; other relatives and friends.
