Mr. Daniel Lee Finley, 66, of Mocksville, died Monday, March 11, 2024, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, in Winston-Salem.

He was born July 22, 1957, in Parkersburg, WV, to the late Kenneth William Finley, Sr. and Elnita Ruth Thorn Finley. Mr. Finley was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in Beirut, Lebanon. He had been employed by Tyson Foods. Mr. Finley was a member of New Hope Church in Winston-Salem.

Survivors include his wife, Jami Cherilyn Riggs Finley; children, Megan Batton (Adam), Morgan Murphy (Shawn), Christyn Finley, Elizabeth Calderon (Narciso), and Zachary Finley (Danielle); brother, Dr. Kenneth William Finley, Jr. (Dorothy), of Paris, TX; and nine grandchildren.

A memorial graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Friday, March 15, at New Hope Church, 5125 Shattalon Drive, with Masonic and military graveside rites.
