Cory Justin Turner, Sr., was born January 28, 1977 in Sacramento, CA. He was the son of William Turner. Cory had resided for the past twenty-eight years in Iredell County, where he was educated in the Iredell County Public School. Cory loved outdoors, fishing, football, and German shepherd dogs. He was a down to earth guy who would always make you laugh. He was always seen wearing a hat, which became his signature. Art was his hobby, and he could draw anything. His children were his world. Preceding him in death was a sister, Carla Turner. On Monday, January 14, 2019, he died in Davis Regional Hospital following years of battling diabetes. Cory is survived by one son, Cory Turner, Jr.; three daughters, Angel Turner, Deseree Turner, and Brielle Turner; one brother, Byron Turner; his girlfriend, Laura Lawrie; other relatives and friends.
