Conway Lackey, age 86, died April 9, 2019 in the North Carolina State Veterans Home in Salisbury, NC. He was born in Iredell County to the late J.T. and Virginia Morrison Lackey. He attended Iredell County Schools, and retired from Schlitz Brewery. He served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955 and received an Honorable discharge. He is survived by one son, Perry Lackey of Statesville; one daughter, Vickie Norfleet of Charlotte. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 11th at 11:00 AM at the National Cemetery in Salisbury.
