Clyde Wayne Hauser, was born in New York, New York on September 21, 1954, son of the late Lula Hauser Givens. He grew up in New York, and after high school, he attended Texas Southern and Southern University of Tyson. Clyde loved baseball, and traveling throughout the country with his devoted mother, whom he dearly loved. She preceded him in death on May 16, 2007. Clyde died at his home on April 6, 2011. Surviving him are two half-sisters, Shirley and Linda of Manhatten, New York; several nieces, nephews, and cousins, including three special cousins, Deric, Wakime, and Tamisha.
