Mr. Christopher Carl Haynes, 53, of Winston-Salem, died Sunday, July 21, 2024, at his home.

He was born December 16, 1970, in Rocky Mount. Chris had worked at Kanpai Japanese Steak House for 20 years, and most recently for Little Caeser's Pizza. He lived his life to the fullest, and always had a smile on his face even through the worst days of battling cancer.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Carl Haynes; his mother, Mary Lou Nance Haynes Gupton; and a sister, Amelia H. Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Andrea Knight; children, Aiden Haynes and Ariel Haynes; a sister, Donna McCachern (Larry); stepfather, Rev. Johnson Gupton; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, August 4, 2024, First Baptist Church of Stanleyville in Winston-Salem, with Rev. Dr. Virgil Dwyer, Jr. officiating. The family invites friends to visit with them at the church following the service.
