Obituary

Charlie Roger Dull, 74, died Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at his home.

He was born November 24, 1950, in Rowan County, to the late Charlie Spach and Beulah Leigh Dixon Dull.

Roger was a devoted member of Farmington Baptist Church. He loved his church community and faithfully served as a Bible study teacher, deacon, and in any area where there was a need for someone to pitch in. He also enjoyed Cowboy Action Shooting and was a member of the Rocky Knoll Rangers. Roger worked for 15 years with the Davie County School System in the Bus Transportation Department. In his younger years, Roger had a passion for adventure. He enjoyed cycling across the country, traveling through Europe with friends from Bible college, and visiting the Holy Land.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Ann Dull Elmore.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Greer Ard Dull; children, Aaron Tuck (Matthew), and Jonathan Dull (Ashley); and grandchildren, Addison, Charlie, Mabel, Harper, and Cici.

A celebration of life will be conducted at 3 p.m., Sunday, September 21, at Farmington Baptist Church, with Rev. Phillip Brande officiating. The family invites friends to visit with them at the church one hour prior to the service.
