Mr. Charles "Chuck" Edward Walburn, 82, of Mocksville, died Wednesday, November 5, at his home.

He was born in Benton Co., Arkansas to the late Thomas and Hazel Moss Walburn on March 10, 1943. He lived in Arkansas, Florida, Virginia, and North Carolina. He owned his own Heating and Cooling business – Delta Heating and Cooling for many years. He loved his work, baseball and Nascar, and he loved babies and dogs.

In 1990, he married the late Muriel Wheeler Walburn and they lived in Northern Virginia before relocating to N.C. in the spring of 2022. Survivors include children Julie Mullins (Brian), and Susan Spicer (Eric); grandchildren, Jeremy Walburn, Gillian Hague (Scott), Derek Spicer, Jessica Wheeler and Ryan Mullins; great-granddaughters, Rose and Olivia Hague. And stepchildren Dana Fruits (Kevin), James Wheeler, and Daniel Wheeler Jr. (Valerie); step grandchildren, Kendrick Fruits (Alyssa), Allie Fruits (John), Kademon Wheeler, Ashton Wheeler, and Oakley Wheeler; step great-grandson, Keller Fruits.

A Memorial Service will be at Lambert Funeral Home on Friday, November 14, at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials to The Advocacy Center of Davie County (preventing homelessness), 261 S. Main Street, Mocksville, NC 27028.
