Charles Marion Turner, Jr., 71, of Mocksville, died Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

He was born December 4, 1953, in Columbia, SC, to the late Charles Marion Turner, Sr. and Virginia Ann Dixon Turner.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Charles "Chip" Marion Turner, III.

Survivors include his wife, Penny Wallace Turner; children, Lisa Turner Campbell (Brian), and Charles "Charlie" Marion Turner, IV; siblings, Hal Turner, Jimmie Turner, and Jennifer Turner; and grandchildren, Haven, Sullie, Rome, and Cove.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
