Ms. Catherine Sutcliffe Hefler, 76, of Mocksville, died Saturday, May 18, 2024, at her home.

She was born February 22, 1948, in Pittsburgh, PA, to the late Jay William and Lillian Over Leslie Ey. Catherine was a gentle soul who did her best with the tools she was given. She loved her children, family, and her soul-mate beyond all else in this world. Catherine held her friends very close to her heart always, even when they didn't see each other or speak with one another often. She loved the animals she adopted and all those that she couldn't.

Survivors include children, Eugene and Kimberly Irwin, Sisters Beth Huch, Leslie Gretton, and Ann Lynch; brother, Jay Gretton; and her soul-mate, Robert Schwarz.

A service will be held at a later date.
