Brady Elbert Young, Jr., was born April 1, 1929 in Yadkin County, son of the late Brady F. Young, Sr., and Minnie Martin Young. He attended Yadkin County Schools and was a local truck driver for Manard Farm Supply in Huntsville, NC. Gardening was his hobby. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl K. Young in 1992. Other relatives who preceded him in death include one son, Junior Clay Kimbrough; four brothers, Harvey, Francis, Ernest, and Marvin Young. On July 8, 2014 he died at Regency Care Nursing Home in Clemmons, NC. Survivors include one son, Crawford (Vickey) Young of Mocksville; eight daughters, Carolyn Tatum, Maxine (Robert) Davis, Annie (Thomas) Campbell, Kay (Brent) Stevenson, Barbara Y. Sales, Tangee Young all of Mocksville, Pauline Young of Yadkinville, and Rosa M. Young of Clemmons; two sisters, Rosa L. Hawkins of Yadkinville and Connie Y. Campbell of Advance; twenty-one grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
