Arthur Columbus Spaugh, Jr., 68, of Advance, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro.

He was born in Davie County on May 6, 1956, to the late Arthur Columbus, Sr. and Rose Marie Cope Spaugh.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Melvin Gillaspie.

He is survived by two brothers, Mickey Spaugh (Joyce) of Germanton, and Howard Spaugh of Winston-Salem; three sisters, Barbara Gillaspie of Advance, Teresa Masters (Travis) of Advance, and Jane Marlow (Mike) of Shallotte; and many nieces and nephew that were close and dear to him.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 1, at Lambert Funeral Chapel. Interment to follow the service at Bixby Church of the Living God Cemetery. The family invites friends to visit with them, at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service.
