She was born June 23, 1938, in Redditch, England, to the late Horace Edward George Janes and Honora Kenny Janes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Kivisto Pilson. Survivors include son, Craig Pilson; daughters, Cara Pilson and Kirsten Pilson Nowak; her granddaughter, Julia Nowak; and her sister, Deirdre Janes Hopkins.
