Annie Marie Britton was born August 11, 1936 in Davie County, daughter of the late Thomas and Susie Burse Hudson. She attended Davie County Schools and when she was able she attended New Jerusalem Apostolic Church. Annie loved gospel music and also enjoyed attending church services. Her husband, Herman Britton preceded her in death. A son, Donald Ray Britton, also preceded her in death on May 15, 2004. She had resided at Autumn Care for the past seven years, where she died on April 9, 2014. Survivors include one daughter, Dianne Bass of Durham, NC; several grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a special friend/guardian, Suzanne Nester.
