Mrs. Amelia Frances Wilson, 57, died suddenly Friday, October 4, 2019, while a resident of Davie Nursing Rehabilitation. She was born September 13, 1962, to the late Benjamin Franklin and Mary Selene Wilson. Amelia, known to most as Frances, was educated in Davie County Schools. She loved fashion, traveling and meeting people. Frances had worked last at burger King before becoming disabled. She helped with childcare and babysitting her nieces and nephews. Frances had recently celebrated her 57th birthday with her family. She was so happy to have everyone there at the same time, sharing food, good conversation and mostly love. Everyone enjoyed the time spent, as it had been a long time since everyone had been together as a family. Frances was loved by all who knew her. We are truly saddened by her death, but we will always remember the happiness we shared. So any time you can get together, do it, you never know, it might be the last time. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four siblings, Mary C. Wilson, Jonathan F. Wilson, Willie L. Wilson-Fowler and Audrey M. Wilson; and two nephews, Roland V. L. Fowler and William Jonathan L. Fowler. Survivors: a loving and devoted daughter, Dorian J. Wilson of New Orleans; four brothers, David Tree Top Peck, Terence F. Wilson (Tanja), all of Statesville, Ronald E. Wilson of Mocksville and Bryant A. Wilson (Johnsie) of Cooleemee; a sister, Dora Wilson Hearn of Statesville; an uncle, Lonnie Wilson of Kernersville; two aunts, Mary L. Bines of Statesville and Mildred Phifer of Mocksville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, October 10, at Graham Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Rev. Rodney Barker will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service.
