She was a loving mother, Mawmaw, wife, sister, and friend who touched the lives of all who knew her. Known for her vibrant personality, she loved being the life of the party and had a special gift for making people laugh. Her warmth, kindness, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Gary Lane Dailey.

She is survived by her devoted daughter and son-in-law, Hope and Scott Clubb, of Mocksville; her cherished grandchildren, Jordan Taylor of Trinity, and Mackenzie Clubb, Zachary Clubb, and Christopher Clubb, all of Mocksville; her five great-grandchildren; her siblings, Larry Hodgson (Sharon), Mary Hudler (Alan), Mark Hodgson (Lenna), and David Hodgson (Kim).

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 18, at Blaise Baptist Church, with Rev. Ken Furches officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
